my sister keeps asking me to make a bolognese for her but today I feel bad and didn't do it. instead my father decided to make a bolognese and after that we started arguing. the crux of the argument is that my father cooks only dishes according to the original recipe and considers this the only true way to cook food. I cook with improvisation and sometimes add new ingredients that can shift the focus of the dish but do not change the main taste of the dish. my father said that it’s absolutely wrong to cook the way I cook and this is no longer a bolognese. but is the name of the dish the most important thing, and not that it becomes tasty? mhm
