Putting some things into perspective 💕 

I feel like there are a lot of unrealistic expectations and demands put onto women and men and non binary/trans folks on OnlyFans or sex workers in general. The thing you need to realize is that it is much like buying from Walmart, or supporting your local economy in comparison when you are looking at OnlyFans vs PornHub.

1️⃣ Onlyfans takes 20%. We also pay taxes on top of that. People complain about having videos behind paywalls. Think about it like a strip club for example. The subscription price is the door fee, and you get access to the club for that. Drinks, dances, and everything else are at an additional cost, and I’ll explain why below. 

2️⃣ I have done both professional studio shoots, and worked independently. Can you guess which better supports the performer? For those who may not know it is independent work. Studios pay a one off fee a lot of the time and own the content FOREVER. You never get to see your content, sell it, or get any royalties from it. The studio will profit off of that forever. Seems a bit unfair right? PornHub pays CENTS for thousands of views on videos. 

3️⃣ Every single aspect of my business is ME. I market everything, I do the camera work, the lights, the location scouting, I star in everything. I am the one engaging with my following. I manage all my social media platforms. I build them. I schedule my posts.  I built my business from the ground up by myself. But it’s so easy to do right? 

4️⃣ Another factor to consider is how much it costs me to make a video. In addition to doing all the labour myself, I am also the one to invest in my business. My studio lighting, cameras, mics, and other equipment are valued at around $3000. This is not to mention clothing, lingerie, toys, hair, nails, lashes, or any of the physical appearance related expenses..
