I still love these photos a lot. (I'm sure at least one will make it in the coffee table book I'm working on this winter)

This is when I lived in Seattle in a very sweet old home. It was one of the first places in my life that really felt like I could make it a *home* ... *my home.* And it served me well for the time I was there, but it came with its own challenges too... I dreamed of spending at least another year in this place, enjoying the amazing yard with my pup, but she passed away, and life began to shift quickly for me. To be honest, I felt the urge to transition months before she passed, but I wanted to have stability so I could have her with me. Things didn't work out like I thought they would. And that's okay. And my landlord wanted to sell, so I had to move out anyway. And start fresh.

Eventually I decided to put my things into storage, part ways with my roommate, and live nomadically for about a year (many of those months split between Washington and Texas) until I moved into my cottage on the Texas farm (May 2022).

Grateful for the journey.
Grateful to find home.
Grateful to be surrounded by magic and animals.

I hope to one day buy property (with land) in the PNW.
