**Question;** πŸŒŽπŸ›³οΈπŸŒπŸ’πŸŒ
**Are there any alternative reasons (that I might have overlooked) as to why someone might want to use a travel agent/agency?**

One of a dozen things I do is being a travel agent *(cruise focused, however includes hotels, excursions and travel insurance).* However personally, I'm not an ideal sales person. Unless I think someone *NEEDs* something, I can't get behind trying to push a sale *(maybe you've noticed how I fail to push sales of content, lol).*

Anyways, I've always booked my own travel. And so the only appeal I see to using a travel agent/agency *(aside of maybe being lazy or by no fault, ignorant in regards to using the internet)* would be that travel agencies are often reserved locked-in rates for a set amount of cabins. So while the rates go up as rooms sell out coming closer to the cruise sail date, agents *(on occasion)* have access to an earlier rate *(until the number of cabins that were granted to the agency are sold out).*

So, because I suck at trying to sell virtually anything that someone doesn't actively want or need, **are there any alternative reasons (that I might have overlooked) as to why someone might want to use a travel agent/agency?** I'd really love to gain sales, but only as long as I'm convinced that I'm offering a benefit or sought after service. Ideas?
