This weekend has been a bit of a write off. On Saturday I had a migraine and on Sunday I was just utterly exhausted and my mood was fairly low. My body was screaming at me to slow down, so I listened. In the late afternoon my friend dragged me to the river for a cold plunge and as the nights are starting to get really quite chilly here again already it was truly a cold plunge which at least got some happy hormones flowing through my body. I was ready to just totally relax on the couch under my cuddly blanket and then all of a sudden inspiration struck and I had a low light shoot in my lounge...... I think it somewhat represents the state I had been in for the weekend. And yes they re not perfect because I am still shooting everything with an iPhone .... I'm saving for a camera.... after my Australia trip it's the next big expense I'm going to be saving for.
